Portable Achievement Carrels™

The Portable Achievement Carrel is a desktop carrel that creates a semi-private tabletop space to help students concentrate on their work by controlling their surroundings, including the visual environment, light and sound. The carrel was designed for use by children with communication, learning or behavior disabilities. The carrel has a back panel and two side panels with optional windows, an angled work surface with an 18° slope, a reading easel with a dry erase surface on both sides and a cross bar to hold the carrel open. Each carrel is handmade with real oak and plastic protective edging. The carrel measures 33 in. H x 27 in L x 34.5 in W when open.
